Philosophy
It is with this guiding principle that Elke Tobisch Ross developed and founded the Hair Art Academy in 1994. As a salon owner, she had great difficulty finding and hiring beauty-school graduates who were well trained.She discovered that schools in the province offered instruction of uneven quality, and that some graduates were not competent at a professional level.
Background
Elke wanted to create a school that addressed this issue by ensuring that students receive a thorough grounding and were taught by instructors who had extensive experience in the "real world".A diploma from Hair Art Academy is well recognized throughout the industry, and is fast becoming the leader in beauty-schools.
